hello friends

I've started this new chapter at work which has me working 70 hrs a week. Sounds awful and can be, and at the same time I'm within some sort of significant growth spurt in terms of leadership, patience, conflict resolution, simply coming out of my shell and blooming. Mentally I feel better than I have in a long time. I think I may be out of the picture for Book Tanque for a bit.

Ancient sage. Pat McD, Pat Smith, Patrick Neer and me went on a 5 day hike in Kentucky one summer. 3 Pats and Silvia.

Scan0007
Holly. This was in the house I shared with Gabi and Patrick N. On the corner of 2nd/Fess I think. Of everyone Holly was really the most fond of Ned. She was downright passionate in that regard.

Scan0006
Sweet Kate. Dancing in Chris's garage.

Crazy pics Silvia - I've really enjoyed all of them! Life was so much simpler and much more complicated then... I loved my youth, but wouldn't want to go back for all the tea in China. I'm just thankful for all of the friends I've made over the years!

Good luck with the new job :). And I'll miss your posts...

funny, i've been thinking about getting a kitty over the last 2 days. i went to the humane society yesterday. or a dog. what i've always wanted is a shephard or a lab. just a little concerned about whether or not i'll be home enough. i'm feeling inspired to have a little life force in my house. :)

Cool, it's been great reading your weblog :).
I'd vote for two kitties - that way they can keep each other company and grow up together. A dog is a HUGE pain in the rear for busy people (even though they're wonderful). That's just my two cents...

h, i know. you are probably right. i've always wanted a dog, and said i'd wait until i 'settled down' so i could share that responsibility. when i went to the humane society i just migrated strait to the dogs. i have a doggy door and fenced in back yard that might help. i will definitely think it through. i appreciate your thoughts, being a seasoned pet owner. xo, s
